Dermatologist

A Dermatologist is someone who treats diseases relating to skin, hair, nails, and the scalp. They can treat many diseases including skin cancer.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Treat diseases
• Treat disorders
• Treat things related to skin for instance acne

Salary: $300,000 for men annually    $262,000 for women annually

Education:

• College bachelors degree
• Medical school
• 1 year internship
• 3 years of dermatology residency program

Demand for this profession: Yes there is high demand for this profession because skin cancer is not as rare as it seems. People also need to be treated f or there severe acne and maybe even hair disorders.

Reflection: I wouldn’t mind being a Dermatologist but it’s not my future goal. I have always found the skin very interesting on how it can just heal on it’s own. ^__^
