Shall be Wise

                                               Student Success Statement

                            “ He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20

                 I couldn’t have said it better myself. This statement just kinda explains that if you do good/identify with people who are good then you yourself shall be considered good. Same thing applies with the bad. If you do bad/identify with others that are bad then you yourself are bad.

"When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block" In order to understand this quote you have to actually think about it. I think we could have used a better example than blocks. It still makes sense though. IT just explains that as long as your obedient for the greater good then you will most likely succeed in life. For example if you are not obedient in school it will be a lot easier for you.

"Choosing the right is always the right thing to do" ~ Alex Linares. The person who made this quote used to be a student of Mr. Haymore. He used to choose the wrong and got ramifications for it. Luckily he learned to choose the right. This quote can be applied to everything you do. For example if your'e hanging out with friends and they're smoking pot and plan on driving and you know that's the wrong thing to do, choose the right and leave. I have run in to a situation like this and luckily chose the right. I once was with my dad and he was drinking until i realized what type of damage he was doing to his body. So i slapped the bottle of beer out of his hand explained how he was damaging his body if he kept this on. Luckily he is now sober.

                                                          Dermatologist

A Dermatologist is someone who treats diseases relating to skin, hair, nails, and the scalp. They can treat many diseases including skin cancer.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Treat diseases
• Treat disorders
• Treat things related to skin for instance acne

Salary: $300,000 for men annually    $262,000 for women annually

Education:

• College bachelors degree
• Medical school
• 1 year internship
• 3 years of dermatology residency program

Demand for this profession: Yes there is high demand for this profession because skin cancer is not as rare as it seems. People also need to be treated f or there severe acne and maybe even hair disorders.

Reflection: I wouldn’t mind being a Dermatologist but it’s not my future goal. I have always found the skin very interesting on how it can just heal on it’s own. ^__^

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player" This quote explains/means that no matter how good you are at something, it doesn't surpass you and how you truly are as a person. For example if you are a murderer and kill people but you're really good at playing soccer doesn't mean you're a good person. The most important thing that matters is who you are as a person. This quote comes from a famous basketball coach that comes from UCLA. He is also known for this quote. A lot of people think that just because they are talented at a certain subject it doesn't matter how they act as a person. I very much agree with this quote. I like to think that i relate to this quote. By that i mean is that i have no talent whatsoever but i am a very caring about others and i like who i am as a person.

"When i do good, i feel good. When i do bad i feel bad" I do sort of agree with this quote. For me this is very relateable because i have tried to lie before and completely failed because i felt really bad. For example if you were to help a homeless person on the street you would feel like you did something good. Another example can be that if you robbed a store later on it would be normal for you to feel bad. Unfortunetly this doesnt apply to everyone. Some people could break someone's arm and not care.
